The office is tucked away in Doveton Bazar, right over in Bolarum. If you know Secunderabad, you know this part of town is usually quite loud with all the market noise. We are at House Number 75/C, and it’s basically where all the logistics stuff gets sorted out. Relogistics India has been operating out of this spot for a while, and it’s mostly just a bunch of us handling manifests and talking to truck drivers on the radio or their mobiles. The heat in the summer gets pretty bad, so we have the fans going full blast all day. There’s always someone coming in to drop off a delivery note or ask about a shipment that’s running late. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy carpets or glass walls. It’s more about the metal desks and the smell of diesel from the street outside. We deal with all sorts of cargo, and some days it feels like we are just moving boxes around in circles, but it gets done. Doveton Bazar has its own rhythm, and we’ve sort of become a part of that over the years. We know the shopkeepers next door and the guys who deliver the water cans. It’s a practical setup, nothing too shiny, just work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit there and wait, chatting about whatever is in the news until it comes back on. Usually, someone goes out to get samosas when things get slow in the afternoon.
