We are tucked away here, handling a lot of the back-end stuff that keeps the bigger projects going across the region. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with some desks, computers, and a lot of maps on the walls. We have a small team, and most of us have been working together for a long time now. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows how everyone else takes their tea or coffee. We deal with a lot of phone calls and emails throughout the day. Construction work involves a lot of waiting for approvals and checking on supplies, so there is plenty of that going on here. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when we are debating how to fix a problem on a site, but it’s all part of the daily job. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big speeches or polished presentations. We just want to get the pipes laid or the roads built or whatever the current contract requires of us. The weather in Secunderabad can be tough, especially in the peak of summer, but we just keep the fans going and stay focused. It’s a decent place to spend the day, and we take pride in just getting the work finished properly without making too much of a fuss.
