Once Elevators

Once Elevators is located over in Sitaram Peth, specifically inside Shop No.14/1-364/3, right by the Shriram Dev Hardware store. Being located right next to a hardware shop is actually quite handy for us when we need a quick part. We spend our days dealing with heavy cables, motors, and floor buttons. It is a lot of technical stuff that most people do not really think about until their lift stops moving between floors. We have a small office in New Agahpura where we keep all our tools and various spare parts stored. It is not the quietest neighborhood, but we like being right where the action is. Most of our work actually happens on-site at different buildings across the city, so the shop is more of a home base for us to gather in the mornings. We keep a lot of grease and oil around because that is what keeps the machinery running smoothly. Sometimes we get emergency calls in the middle of the night if someone gets stuck, and one of us has to head out immediately. It is just part of the responsibility we took on. We have learned over time that every building has its own little quirks when it comes to the elevator shafts and the wiring. We just take it one floor at a time. The paperwork can be a real headache sometimes, but the actual mechanical work is what we enjoy doing most. It is a decent living for us.
