Shree Ram Battery Industries

Down in Gaganpahad, you will find us at Shree Ram Battery Industries. We are located at Plot Number 106, spanning across Survey Numbers 72 and 75 in the Rajendranagar area. It is a large enough space for what we do, which is mostly handling heavy batteries and lead components all day. The work is physically demanding because batteries are never light. We spend a lot of time moving crates around and checking the connections. Gaganpahad is an industrial pocket and it gets quite busy with transporters moving in and out of the plots. Our day usually starts early before the sun gets too hot. We have a routine of checking the stock and seeing what needs to be moved out. The floors are concrete and they stay cool for a while, but by midday, the whole place warms up. We have a small area where we keep our tools and another spot for the finished units. There is nothing particularly pretty about the setup but it works for us. We know most of the guys working in the nearby plots. Sometimes we share a meal or just talk about the road conditions. It is a straightforward business and we don't try to make it seem like more than it is. We just focus on the task at hand and make sure the work gets done by the time we lock up.
