Shivani Polymers

Shivani Polymers is located over in Ida Kattedan. We have the space from M 87 to 89. It’s a big enough area for what we do with plastics and polymers. Rajendranagar is where we spend most of our time. The factory floor is usually pretty warm because of the machines running all day. We make different types of polymer products here. It’s dusty and noisy but that is normal for this kind of work. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. They know the machines better than anyone. We don't really have a front desk or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the floor. We deal with raw materials and turning them into stuff people use. It’s basic manufacturing. Nothing fancy about it. The sheds are old but they keep the rain out. We try to keep things organized but with all the inventory it gets messy sometimes. We just load the trucks and send things out. It’s a lot of manual work. Lifting bags, checking the heat on the molds, things like that. We don't do much advertising. People find us because they need what we make. It’s a simple business. We open early and stay until the work is finished for the day. That’s life at Kattedan for us. It is just hard work every day.
