Raj Plastic Industries

Down in Kattedan, at 6/4/161/2, you’ll find our plastic shop. Rajendranagar is a pretty busy industrial hub, and we fit right into the mix of factories and warehouses. It’s noisy because of the machines running, and there is always that specific smell of heating plastic in the air. We aren't some high-tech lab; it’s a factory floor where people are working hard to make parts and containers. The floors are concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s a workspace, not a showroom. We spend our hours monitoring the molds and making sure the output is what it should be. It’s a lot of standing and checking and moving boxes around. We don’t have a big marketing team telling people how great we are. Most of our customers are other businesses in the area who just need their orders filled on time. We eat our tiffin in a small break area and talk about the local traffic or the weather. It gets really humid in here during the rains, which makes the work a bit slower, but we keep pushing through. We’ve been at this address for years and the neighbors are all in the same boat, just trying to run their shops and keep things moving. It’s a simple life, focused on production and the daily routine of the Kattedan industrial zone.
