Rajaram Clinic

Our clinic is located at Shop no 2, right on the road that goes from NH-44 to Jeedimetla Village. It’s a busy stretch of road with lots of trucks and cars passing by all the time. Being in Jeedimetla, we see a lot of people who work in the local industries around here. The shop is small, but we’ve arranged it to make the most of the space. There’s a desk for the doctor and a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. It’s a very practical place. We don’t spend money on decorations because that’s not why people come here. They come because they have a fever or a cough and need someone to take a look. I usually spend some time in the evenings tidying up the medicine shelves. Dust from the road is a constant battle, so we are always wiping things down. It’s a simple life running a clinic on the edge of the village. We know the local tea stall owner and the people at the nearby shops. It’s a bit loud with the highway so close, but you get used to the sound of the engines after a few days. We keep our hours regular so people know when they can find us. It’s just a honest little clinic doing what it can for the folks in this part of town. The rain gets pretty loud on the roof during the monsoon season. You can barely hear yourself think sometimes. But the patients still come in, dripping wet with their umbrellas. We just give them some newspapers to dry their feet.
