Shree Satguru Foods is over at Plot No 50 in Ida Jeedimetla. If you know the Qutubullapur area, you know it’s mostly industrial and always busy with trucks. We handle food products here. It’s a lot of manual work, checking batches and making sure things are clean. We aren't some giant factory with robots. It’s mostly local hands doing the packing and sorting. The morning shift starts early because that’s when the air is cooler. Jeedimetla can get really dusty, so we spend a lot of time keeping the facility sealed up. We moved into this plot because we needed more floor space for the sacks and the processing units. Sometimes the smell of spices or whatever we are working on that day drifts out into the street. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most people hear about us through word of mouth or just see our trucks around. Dealing with food means you can't cut corners, even when you're tired at the end of a long Tuesday. We have some regulars who have been buying from us since we first opened. It’s a simple setup. We come in, we do the work, and we go home. The machines are old but they still work fine if you treat them right. We just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. There’s always someone sweeping up or washing down the tables to keep things tidy for the next day of work.
