If you ever find yourself in the Afzal Gunj area of Hyderabad, you’ll know it’s a total maze. Our place, Quippo Infrastructure Equipment Limited, is right at 15-4-338 on Osman Shai. It is a very old part of the city, and the streets are narrow and always packed with people and carts moving goods around. The building we are in has that classic Hyderabad look, a bit worn down but sturdy. We spend a lot of our day dealing with the noise from the street coming through the windows. It’s not the quietest place to work, but being right in the middle of the action has its benefits. We have a small crew here, and we mostly focus on keeping track of where our equipment is supposed to be. The paperwork piles up on the desks, and the ceiling fans hum all day long to keep the heat away. There is a biryani place not too far from the entrance that smells amazing every afternoon, which makes it hard to focus sometimes. We don't really have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just an office where we take calls and manage the schedules. If you are coming to visit, don't try to park a big car right outside because you'll never get out. It’s better to walk from the main crossing if you can. We’ve been at this address for a long time and know all the neighbors.
