Quality Inn Residency, Hyderabad

If you ever find yourself near Public Garden Road in Nampally, you’ll probably see where we are. Quality Inn Residency is right in the middle of all that Hyderabad chaos. Nirmal Patra is the one who keeps all the accounts in order here, sitting in his office tucked away from the main lobby. It is a busy spot, especially with the railway station so close by. People are always coming and going. The building itself has been around for a bit, from 5-8-231 to 262, so it covers a lot of ground. It isn't one of those brand new glass towers, it has more character than that. You can hear the traffic and the people outside all day long. Inside, it’s a bit different, mostly just us trying to keep things running smooth. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at ledgers. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight when things get stressful. Working in Nampally means you’re never bored. There’s always someone asking for directions or a delivery driver trying to find the entrance. It feels like the real heart of the city. We don’t put on many airs here. It’s just a place to stay and a place where we do our jobs every day. It can be a bit noisy and the hallways are long, but it’s our workplace. We’ve been here for years and the street has changed a lot, but we’re still here.
