Our base is over at Hno 1-38-3565 in Indrimaa Nagar, right near the Rasoolpura Policeline in Secunderabad. It’s a very busy neighborhood with a lot of people moving around all the time. The office is on the ground floor, and you can usually hear the sound of the traffic outside throughout the day. We do mostly civil work, so there is always a lot of talk about sand, gravel, and steel prices. Our walls are covered with old calendars and a few photos of projects we finished years ago. It’s not the most organized place in the world, with rolls of blueprints leaning against the walls and stacks of invoices on every flat surface. We usually have people coming in and out all day, like laborers looking for work or supervisors checking in. It can get a bit chaotic, but we have our own way of managing it all. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the local politics while waiting for the next delivery truck to arrive. The power goes out sometimes, so we just open the windows and keep going as best as we can. We have been in this spot for a long time and the neighbors are all familiar faces. It’s a basic operation where we just focus on the job at hand and try to make sure everything is sturdy. We don't use big words or fancy titles here.
