Purchase Executive

Our small office is tucked away in the Falaknuma area of Hyderabad. If you know where the post office is, we are just a short walk from there. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of history and old buildings. We handle the purchase executive duties for a few local operations. It’s not a very big team. Mostly, we sit here and make sure the supplies are coming in as they should. Sometimes the traffic in Hyderabad makes it hard for deliveries to reach on time, so we spend a lot of our afternoon calling drivers. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. The space is a bit cramped with all the files and folders we have to keep for the records. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. You just walk in and someone will be at a desk working on a spreadsheet. It’s practical work. We deal with vendors every day and try to make sure the prices don't jump around too much. It’s a lot of checking invoices and making sure the counts are right. Being near the Falaknuma post office is handy for the mail, which we still get plenty of. We aren't trying to be some huge international firm. We just want to make sure the buying side of things runs okay for the people we help. It’s a regular job for us, and we take it one day at a time.
