Presenly Retired From Govt Service

I live over here in Banjara Hills, at the Usha Arun Apartments on Road No 13. After spending many years working for the government, I am finally retired now. Life is a lot slower than it used to be. I don't really run a company in the traditional sense, but I still keep myself busy with various bits and pieces of work. When you spend your whole life in service, it's hard to just sit still and do nothing. I spend a lot of my time meeting old colleagues or helping out people who need advice on how the government systems work. Hyderabad has changed so much since I first started my career, especially this area. My flat is on the first floor, number 102, and it’s a quiet place to read or catch up on paperwork. I don't have a staff or an office anymore, just my desk and a computer. Sometimes I wonder if I should have retired earlier, but then I wouldn't know what to do with my hands all day. I take things one day at a time now. People still call me for help with documents or just to chat about the old days in the department. It is a different kind of life, but I’m enjoying the peace of mind that comes with it. There isn't much to brag about, just a quiet life.
