Over in the Electronics Complex at Kushaiguda, you’ll find Precision Electrnic Coponents Mfg. Co. at B-51. This area of Hyderabad has been around for a while, and our building looks the part. It’s a functional space, nothing more, nothing less. The walls have some scuffs from moving equipment around, and the floor is that hard industrial concrete. We don’t have a big sign with lights or anything. People usually find us because they know where we are. The work is mostly manual, so there is a lot of moving around and standing. It’s not a quiet office. You can hear the sounds of tools and machines from the moment you walk in. We have a small area for coffee and tea, which is where we spend our breaks talking about the local news or the weather. The heat in Hyderabad can be tough in the summer, especially in a workshop like this. We just keep the windows open and hope for a breeze. We have a few long-term staff who have been here since the gates first opened. There isn't any corporate hierarchy to speak of; we just all know what our jobs are. It’s a plain, honest way to spend the day. We don’t bother with much else besides the work itself. We’ve got a good relationship with the other units in the complex too. It is a steady way to live.
