Prashu Jobs

We've been running Prashu Jobs over in the Ecil area for a while now. It’s mostly just us helping people look for work and trying to figure out which companies are hiring. It gets pretty busy around here. People come in with their resumes and we sit down to talk about what they can actually do. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other days it's just a few folks dropping by. We aren't a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular spot where the focus is on getting people into jobs that fit. The Ecil neighborhood has changed a lot, but we are still in the same place. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking listings and calling back employers to see if they’ve filled their spots yet. It’s a lot of back and forth, honestly. Some days are good when someone gets a start date, and other days are just about paperwork and waiting. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us handling the daily stuff. We know how it is when you're looking for work and it’s stressful. So we just try to keep things simple and honest with everyone who walks through the door. No fancy promises, just the work of matching people to what's available nearby. It's just what we do here in the office every day. We usually have the tea ready and the door open for whoever needs to talk. We hope to stay here for many more years helping our neighbors find their way.
