Prabha Clinic

Prabha Clinic is situated at 18-28 Prashantha Nagar in Uppal. This part of Uppal is mostly residential, so it’s not as crazy as the main highway area, but it still has its busy moments. The clinic is a simple setup, nothing too grand. We have a few rooms for seeing patients and a small desk at the front where we keep the registers. The walls are painted a plain off-white, and we have a few fans that hum quite a bit when they’re on high. In the mornings, you can see the neighbors walking their dogs or heading to work while we’re opening the shutters. We get a lot of families from the nearby houses coming in. It’s the kind of place where you see the same kids growing up over the years. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who handle everything from cleaning to answering the phone. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s completely silent for an hour. We usually keep a water dispenser in the corner for anyone who’s thirsty. The chairs in the waiting area are plastic and easy to wipe down. It’s just a basic clinic that’s been part of Prashantha Nagar for a while now. We don't do much in the way of decoration, just some posters on the wall about basic health stuff. It’s just a quiet, steady place to work every day. The door sticks a little in the rainy season.
