Pink Lady Wear

Pink Lady Wear is tucked away at H. No. 1-241/2, right above the Indian Bank on Saketh Main Road in ECIL. You have to walk up the stairs next to the bank to find us. The shop is full of ladies' clothing, with racks of suits and dresses squeezed into the space. We have large windows that look out over the main road, so we see all the traffic and people going about their day. It gets quite bright in here in the afternoons. We spend our time helping women find the right size or showing them different colors of fabric. The shop is often a bit messy because people are always pulling things off the hangers to look at them. We try to keep it organized, but it is a losing battle most days. Saketh Main Road is always noisy, with horns honking and buses passing by, but we have grown used to it. We have a small counter where we do the billing and a tiny room for alterations. Sometimes customers bring in their own fabric and ask us to make something specific. We do our best to get the fit right. It is a local business and we know many of the ladies who shop here. We just stay open until the evening, chatting with customers and keeping the shop running as best as we can. It is a busy life above the bank.
