Our workshop is located over in Ramchandra Puram in Hyderabad. It’s a busy spot, and we’ve been here for quite some time now at house number 2-24. We spend most of our days working on transformers. If you know anything about electrical gear, you know it's heavy and needs a lot of attention to detail. It gets hot in the shop, especially during the summer months, but we keep the work moving. The team here just focuses on getting the units built or fixed up so they can go out where they're needed. We aren't a massive factory, but we have enough space to handle the regular load. Sometimes the parts take a while to arrive, which is frustrating, but that's just how the business goes. We deal with various types of transformers and electrical setups. It’s practical work, hands-on every single day. Most of us have been doing this for years, so we know the smells of oil and metal pretty well. Hyderabad is a big place, but Ramchandra Puram feels like home to the business. We don't do much talking, mostly just clanking tools and checking gauges. It’s a straightforward setup. We show up, do the assembly or the repairs, and make sure things are ready for the next job. That’s pretty much the whole story of Pete Transformers and how we spend our time.
