Peroneira Architects

We’ve got our office set up at the Rspot Sports Centre in Raghavendra Nagar. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for an architecture firm, but it works for us. We’re quite close to the IDL Lake, so sometimes we take a walk down there when we need a break from the computer screens. The area is usually full of people coming for sports, which gives the place a lot of life. Our studio isn't very large. It’s mostly just desks, a lot of rolls of blueprints, and some models we’ve built over the months. We don't have a formal dress code or a polished reception area. It’s just us doing the work we enjoy. We take on various projects, from small house designs to some bigger commercial stuff around Kukatpally. We’ve been in this part of Hyderabad for a while and we really like the community here. The local shopkeepers know us, and we know them. We try to keep our designs practical and sensible. We aren't interested in making things look fancy just for the sake of it if they aren't going to be useful. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with clients, trying to figure out what they actually need versus what they think they want. We’re just a small group of architects who like to build things that last.
