Peoples Clinic

Our clinic is tucked away on Street Number 8 in Habsiguda, not far from R.R. Labs and the Jama Osmaniya area. It’s one of those neighborhoods where everyone seems to know each other by face if not by name. We operate out of a modest building, and the entrance is right off the sidewalk. We don’t have a massive neon sign or anything like that, just a simple one so people know they’ve arrived at the right spot. Inside, the walls are painted a simple cream color and we have a few rows of metal chairs for people to wait in. Most of our patients live just a few blocks away in the surrounding streets, so they usually just walk over when they need something. We see a lot of kids coming in for their scheduled shots and older folks stopping by to get their blood pressure checked. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the ceiling fans going at full speed to stay cool. The front desk is often covered in folders and loose papers because we still like to keep physical records of most of the work we do. Sometimes the neighborhood kids play cricket in the street right outside, and you can hear the sound of the ball hitting the bat through the windows. It’s a quiet, local life for us here in Habsiguda. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just providing a place for people to come when they don't feel well. The staff is just a few of us.
