Pelican Rubber Ltd is situated at H.No: 1-7-99/2, Kamalanagar. We are over in the Ecil area of Hyderabad, Andhrapradesh 500 062. Working with rubber means the office often has a very specific smell, but you stop noticing it after the first week. It’s a busy part of Hyderabad. The factory floor is where most of the action happens, while the office side handles the orders and the logistics. It’s noisy and dusty sometimes, but that is just the nature of manufacturing. We don't wear suits here. It’s mostly practical clothes that can get a bit of grease on them without it being a disaster. We’ve been around Kamalanagar for a long time. The building isn't brand new, and the gate squeaks a little when you open it. We don't have a big mission statement written in the lobby. Instead, we have a calendar with the delivery dates marked in red ink. We spend our time checking quality and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly. It’s a lot of physical coordination. Sometimes things go wrong, a machine breaks or a shipment is delayed, and we just have to roll up our sleeves and fix it. We are just regular people making a living in the rubber business. It’s steady work and we are proud to be doing it here in Ecil. We just keep our heads down and get the job done without any fuss or fancy talk.
