Being up on the 8th floor of the DLF Cyber City building gives us a pretty good view of Gachibowli. It’s a very modern area, quite different from the older parts of the city. We work here at Parexel International India, and things move pretty fast in this building. The APHB Colony area is always busy with people coming and going from all the different offices. Our day-to-day involves a lot of data and clinical details. It’s serious work, but we try to keep the atmosphere in the office relaxed. You see a lot of people in the elevators wearing badges and carrying laptops. We have our own space where we manage our part of the business. It’s a lot of meetings, but the kind where we actually get things sorted out. The air conditioning is always on high because of all the servers and equipment. We usually eat our lunch in the common area or go down to the food court if we have time. It’s a professional environment, but we are just regular people trying to do our jobs well. We don't use much jargon when we talk to each other. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized. It can be a bit of a commute for some of us, but the office is a good place to be. We just keep our heads down and work. There are always new faces coming in, which keeps things lively. It’s just the nature of this part of town.
