Padmavati Cotton

Our workspace is located in Chintal, specifically at H. No. 49 - 440/7. We are on the first floor in Flat No. 2 of Sneha Residency. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially when we are moving bags around. Padmavati Cotton isn't a massive factory. It’s more of a small, local operation where we keep an eye on everything ourselves. The flat is usually filled with the smell of raw material, and there’s always a bit of lint floating in the air. We don't mind it much. It’s just a few of us here. We spend the day checking the weights and making sure the orders are ready for whoever is coming to pick them up. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just use a basic phone and a notebook to keep track of things. Chintal is a busy area, but once you get inside the residency, it’s a bit quieter. We’ve been here for several years now. We know the neighbors and the local delivery guys. It’s a very straightforward business. No one here is wearing a tie or sitting in a fancy chair. We just sit on the regular stools and get the work finished. If a customer has a question, they just call us up and we tell them what we have. It’s an honest way to spend the day in this part of town.
