You can find us at Quarter F/82 in the Orient Cement Colony over in Devapur. S. Vijay Kumar is usually the one you’ll talk to if you stop by or call. This is where we handle the industry side of things, specifically the local operations within the Adilabad district. Being right in the colony means we are never far from the actual work happening at the plant. It's a busy place with people moving around all day, but F/82 is where the desk work gets done. We keep the registers and the logs for the daily outputs here. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear the trucks passing by on the main road, but it doesn't stop us from getting the work finished. We've been part of this colony setup for a long time. It’s practical because we can talk to the supervisors and the laborers without having to travel far. The weather in Adilabad can be tough, especially when it rains and the roads get muddy, but the cement has to keep moving regardless. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room, just a couple of chairs and a table where we go over the numbers. It’s a very hands-on way to run things. We make sure the orders are logged correctly and the supplies are accounted for before they leave the gates. It’s honest work and we stay busy from sunrise until the last shift change.
