Our office is situated right across from the Telephone Bhavan in the Saifabad area. We are spread out over the first and second floors at 6-1-85/4. This is an older part of the city, and our building has that classic look to it. Onyx has been around for a good many years now. We deal with various electronic components and different kinds of systems. Being based in Saifabad is quite convenient for us, even though finding a parking spot can be a real headache some days. The staff we have here is like a small family. We have our storage area on one floor and the sales team works on the other. That means we end up climbing a lot of stairs every single day. We do not have a big, fancy reception area. People usually just walk right in, and we do our best to help them out with whatever they need. The windows in the office look out onto the busy street, so we get to see all the commotion going on outside. We handle a lot of different parts, so there are always cardboard boxes lying around waiting to be packed and shipped. It can get a bit cluttered, but we usually know where everything is kept. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work. There are no fancy mission statements here, just selling components and helping people with their technical questions. It is a steady, everyday kind of business.
