Om Sai Opticals & Eye Clinic

If you are heading down Uppal Main Road, you'll find us right near the junction at Shop No 1-87/A. Om Sai Opticals & Eye Clinic is a small place, really. We spend our days testing people's eyes and helping them pick out frames that don't fall off their faces. The junction is always loud with traffic, so we are used to the honking and the dust from the road. We’ve got the testing equipment in the back and the glasses out front in the glass cases. Sometimes people just pop in because they sat on their spectacles and need a quick fix. It's not a big corporate showroom, just a local shop where we know many of the faces walking through the door. We see a lot of students and office workers who live around Uppal. My desk is usually covered in lens wipes and small screwdrivers. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening rush starts to die down. It gets pretty bright in here with all the lights, but you need that to see the small details on the frames. Most days it’s just us chatting with the regulars or explaining why someone's prescription has changed again. We don't do fancy ads. We just keep the shop open and try to be helpful to whoever walks in from the main road. It’s a simple setup but it works for us and the people around here who need to see a bit clearer.
