Olive''S Pet Clinic

Olive's Pet Clinic is located on Jung Lane in Basheerbagh. It’s a bit of a narrow street, but we’ve made our home here. Most days start with the sound of a dog barking in the waiting area or a cat meowing from inside a carrier. It’s rarely quiet, which is just how we like it. The space isn't huge, so things can feel a bit cramped when we have three or four pets waiting at once. We have a couple of exam tables and a lot of shelves filled with supplies and medicine. The walls are covered in some old posters about pet care that have been there since we opened. Our staff mostly wears scrubs that usually end up with some pet hair on them by noon. We know many of the local pets by name because their owners bring them in for their regular shots or when they’ve eaten something they shouldn't have. It’s a messy job sometimes, but someone has to do it. We don't have fancy automated systems; we mostly write things down and keep our own records. The neighborhood of Basheerbagh is busy, and people often pop their heads in to ask a quick question while they are out walking. We just try to help out where we can. It’s a simple operation, run by people who actually like animals. We aren't a big corporate chain, just a small clinic on a side street doing our thing.
