Obesity Clinic

The Obesity Clinic is part of the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, located at 1-8-31/1 on Minister Road in Secunderabad. Being inside such a large institute means we are part of a much bigger medical environment. The clinic specifically focuses on helping people manage their weight and the health issues that come along with it. Minister Road is a pretty well-known stretch, so finding the institute isn't usually the hard part. Once you get inside the gates, you have to navigate the different buildings to find us. We see a lot of different people every day, all with their own struggles and goals. The atmosphere is professional but we try to keep it relaxed because we know it can be stressful for patients to talk about these things. We have desks, some scales, and consultation rooms where we sit down and go over things. It’s a lot of talking and listening. The staff here has been around for a while, so we are used to the busy pace of the institute. Lunch breaks are usually quick because there is always someone waiting. We don't have any flashy slogans or anything like that. We just come in, do our jobs, and help the people who have scheduled appointments for that day. It's just regular hospital work in a specific department, and we try to keep the paperwork moving so people don't wait too long.
