Our office is situated right at the No 6 X Road in Hyderabad, with the house number being 2-2-1073/2. Being at such a busy intersection means there is always a lot of noise and activity right outside our windows. This is the place where we handle everything for Nishani Chit Funds. We have been in this spot for a while, and it is a simple setup. We do not really do the whole corporate thing with suits and long, boring meetings. Most of our day is spent sitting at the desks, taking in the monthly installments, and making sure the ledgers are completely updated. A lot of the local neighbors stop in to chat or pay their dues. We have a few desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. Because of the road right there, things get a bit dusty, so we are always cleaning up the place. People trust us with their savings, and we take that quite seriously, even if we do not use fancy words to talk about it. We just make sure the auctions happen on time and the money goes exactly where it is supposed to go. Sometimes we have to stay late at the end of the month to finish up the paperwork, but that is just how the job is. Hyderabad is a fast-moving city, but here we just take things one chit group at a time.
