Our shop is on New Nagole Main Road in Kothapet. It is a good spot because there are always people walking by. We’ve been at this 1-2-19 address for a long time. The sign out front is a bit faded from the sun, but people still find us. We sell a variety of things, and the inventory changes depending on what we can get our hands on. Some mornings are spent just unpacking crates and trying to find space on the shelves. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes. We don't have a lot of rules here. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait to see who comes in. Sometimes it’s a regular looking for a specific part, and other times it’s someone who just got lost. We try to be helpful, even if we don't have exactly what they need. The main road is always noisy with buses and bikes, so you get used to talking loudly. We don't have a website or a fancy computer system. Everything is written down in a big ledger we keep behind the counter. It might seem old-fashioned to some people, but it works for us. We aren't trying to become a huge corporation. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure the customers go away satisfied. It’s a decent life, even if the floor needs a good sweep every few hours.
