New Limra Motors

We’ve been here at Ashok Plaza for quite a while now. Most people around Masab Tank know us just as the guys working on cars on the first floor. It isn't a fancy setup. The floor usually has some grease on it and there’s always a few parts lying around waiting to be put back into an engine. We started New Limra Motors because we liked working with our hands. My brother and I usually handle most of the stuff that comes in. Some days it’s just oil changes and basic checks, other times we’re stuck on a tricky engine problem until late at night when the rest of the plaza has gone quiet. It gets hot in the summer but we keep the fans going. People drop by, leave their keys, and go grab a tea nearby while we get to work. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. Just a desk with some old ledgers and a phone that rings more than it should. We try to keep things simple. If a part can be fixed, we fix it. If it needs replacing, we tell you straight. That’s just how we do things here. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot from this window, but the work stays pretty much the same day in and day out. The stairs up to our unit are a bit steep, so mind your step when you visit.
