Rajeshwar Steel Art is located on Fathenagar Main Road, right near the railway bridge. If you’re looking for us, just listen for the sound of metal being cut or welded. It’s a noisy shop, and there are always sparks flying somewhere in the back. We work with steel, making different things like gates or frames or whatever else someone needs. The floor is concrete and always has bits of metal shavings on it. We spend our days wearing heavy gloves and goggles, dealing with the heat from the torches. It’s hard work and it gets very hot, especially during the summer months. The shop is at number 1-4, and since we’re near the bridge, you can hear the trains passing by all the time. It’s a bit of a gritty place, with black soot on the walls and heavy tools lying around on the benches. We don’t have a fancy office or a place to sit down; we’re usually on our feet working on a piece of steel. People come to us when they need something solid and built to last. We just take the measurements, get the materials, and start the work. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it here in Fathenagar for quite some time now. The main road is always busy, so there’s no shortage of things to see while we’re working by the open door.
