I've been here at Silver Oak Banglows in Charlapally for quite some time now. House number 224 isn't just a place where I live, it's where the work happens. It’s a bit away from the main city rush which I actually prefer most days. You get to know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. Some mornings it’s really quiet until the equipment starts running. Advertising isn't always glamorous like people think on TV. Most of my time is spent checking prints, fixing paper jams, or talking on the phone with folks about their signs. The road outside has gotten busier lately with all the new constructions around Charlapally. We handle things as they come. Sometimes there’s a lot of clutter on the desk, pens missing, or tea cups sitting around from the morning. My family is around too, so you might hear the TV in the background or someone cooking in the kitchen while I’m trying to finish a project. It’s just how it is. We don’t have a big fancy reception area or anything like that. Just a workspace and a lot of samples lying around. People usually find us through word of mouth or they just see the name and stop by. The weather here gets pretty hot in the summer, which makes the machines run a bit loud. But we manage. It’s a simple setup and we just try to get the jobs done before the day ends.
