Sunshade Awnings

Down here in Savarker Nagar, we stay pretty busy with the fabric and the metal frames. Our shop is at No. 6-15/1 on Street No. 3, and if you know Nacharam, you know it gets quite hot in the afternoons. That is basically why Sunshade Awnings exists. We spend most of our time cutting material and welding the arms together. It’s noisy work, and there is usually a lot of scrap metal lying around the floor that we have to trip over. We aren't a big factory with robots. It’s just human hands doing the measuring and the sewing. Sometimes the sewing machines act up, and we have to spend an hour fixing them before we can get back to the awnings. We’ve been in this neighborhood long enough that most of the local shopkeepers know us by name. We don't do much advertising. People just see our work on a neighbor's house and walk in to ask about it. The street is narrow, so loading the finished shades onto the truck is always a bit of a struggle. We try to get things done on time, though sometimes the weather or a late delivery of parts slows us down. It’s just honest work, keeping the sun off people’s windows. We don't use fancy words for what we do. We just make stuff that works and keeps the heat out.
