Geeta Wood Industries

We operate out of A/17/3 in the Nacharam industrial area. Geeta Wood Industries has been here for years, and the place is always covered in a fine layer of sawdust. You can smell the wood the moment you walk through the gate. It’s a scent we have all grown used to. We have several big saws and various machines for cutting and shaping. It gets very loud when everything is running at once. We don't have a receptionist or a polished waiting room. If you want to talk to us, you usually have to find us in the back among the stacks of timber. The Hyderabad heat can be tough under the workshop roof, but we keep going. We have piles of offcuts and scraps in the corners that we need to clear out every now and then. The guys working here know their way around different types of wood and how to handle the tools. We don't use any fancy software to manage things; it’s mostly done with notebooks and pencils. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow lanes in the IDA, but we manage. It’s a straightforward business. We take the raw wood and turn it into what’s needed. It’s honest work that leaves you tired but satisfied when the day is done.
