You can find P K Feeds & Manures at No. 6-16/1 in Savarkar Nagar. We are right near the Nacharam X Roads, which is a pretty well-known landmark around here. The area gets a lot of trucks and people moving through, so it stays busy. We handle a lot of heavy bags, mostly animal feed and different types of manures for gardens or farms. It’s a dusty job and the shop smells like earth and grain most of the time. We don't mind it, as it’s part of the work. The building is simple, just a big space to keep the stock dry and accessible. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading stuff from the back of tempos. It's physical work. We have been at Savarkar Nagar for a while and have seen the crossroads get more congested every year. Most of our customers are locals or people passing through who need a few bags for their land. We don't have a website or any of that, just the shop and our phone. People know us by the sign outside. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, because of the nature of what we sell, but we keep things organized enough to find what you need quickly. Usually, there’s a bit of tea being shared in the corner during the slow hours in the afternoon. We stay open pretty late compared to the other shops nearby. Sometimes we have to move the bags around to make room for new arrivals, which takes a lot of effort.
