Our operation is located in Muramalla, within the I. Polavaram region. It is a bit out of the way compared to the big city offices, but it suits the kind of work we do. We are focused on readymix concrete, which is a busy and often dusty business. The site is managed by K.V.V. Satyanarayana Muramalla. We don't have a fancy office building. Instead, we have a functional space where we can keep track of the trucks and the mixing schedules. Most of the day is spent outdoors or in the small office area where the phones are always ringing. Dealing with concrete means you are always watching the clock because the material has to be delivered and used quickly. The weather plays a huge part in our daily lives. If it is raining, we often have to stop everything and wait for it to clear up. We spend those times just sitting around the office, maybe checking the equipment or catching up on logs. The roads around here can be a bit bumpy, especially with our heavy trucks moving in and out all the time. It is a very straightforward, no-frills kind of job. We don't bother with fancy slogans or big marketing campaigns. We just focus on getting the mix right and making sure the trucks get to where they need to go. It is hard work, but it is honest and it keeps the local building projects moving.
