M/S Panyam Cements & Mineral Industries Ltd.

Our place is out in Cement Nagar, which is exactly what it sounds like. It is a bit of a trek from the main Kurnool town, but this is where the work is. We have been part of the M/S Panyam Cements & Mineral Industries Ltd. setup for a long time. The address is CD-23, and it is right in the heart of the industrial area there. Working in cement and minerals means everything has a thin layer of grey dust on it, no matter how much you clean. That is just life in a factory town. The office itself is functional and quite old. We have got heavy wooden desks and ceiling fans that have seen better days. It is very hot in this part of Andhra Pradesh, so we drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade during the peak afternoon hours. The people working here are mostly locals from the Kurnool district. We do not do anything flashy or modern. It is mostly just tracking the truck loads, checking the mineral quality, and making sure the factory side of things is running okay. We do not have a corporate office feel at all. It is loud, it is industrial, and it is very practical. You won't find any art on the walls, just calendars and maybe a map of the mining areas. It is what it is. We just show up, do the work, and manage the cement business from this small corner of the world because that is where we are needed.
