Venkateswara Hydraulics

Our shop is over here on H P Road, at 11 5 238/6/1. If you know this part of the road, you know it stays pretty jammed up with traffic. We handle a lot of hydraulic parts and repairs here. It’s messy work. Your hands stay black with grease most of the day, and it doesn't really wash off easy. We’ve got a couple of old workbenches that have seen better days. The light isn't the best in the back, but we know where everything is. Sometimes a customer brings in a cylinder that’s leaking all over the floor, and we have to scramble to get it sorted. There isn't much room for sitting around. We keep the spare parts in the racks along the wall, though it’s getting a bit crowded lately. The neighbors are all doing similar industrial work, so it's a lot of grinding and hammering sounds all day long. It's not a place for a suit and tie. We wear old clothes because they're going to get ruined anyway. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quick between jobs. We don't have a website or anything like that. If someone needs us, they just drive down or call the old landline. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the tools. This road never seems to get any quieter, but it’s where the work is.
