Mohammed Cap Mart

Mohammed Cap Mart is right there at 21-1-21 in the Taj Building, near Madina Circle on Pathergatti Road. It’s a very well-known spot in this neighborhood. We’ve been selling caps here for a long time, and the shop is usually packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of headwear. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have more than a couple of customers inside at once. The shelves are old and have been repaired more times than I can count. We spend our days helping people find the right size or the right color, which isn't always as easy as it sounds. Pathergatti Road is always teeming with life, so there’s a constant stream of people passing by our door. Some just peak in, while others have been coming to us for years. We aren't interested in being a big modern store; we like the way things are. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from the street, so we’re constantly dusting off the boxes and the displays to keep them clean. It’s a simple life, really. We open the shutters early and stay until late in the evening. Most of our staff are like family. We know the regulars by name and we know what they usually look for. It’s just a traditional shop doing what it has always done in this part of the city. We keep it honest and straightforward.
