Models India is based out of Edi Bazar in Hyderabad. Our address is H. No. 18-8-684/43. If you have ever walked through the narrow lanes of Edi Bazar, you know it is a very crowded and lively place to be. We have been working here in this same house for a long time. Our work involves making different kinds of models, though what kind changes depending on who walks through the door. Hyderabad has changed so much over the decades, even the state name changed to Telangana, but we are still here in the exact same spot. The office is really just a couple of rooms filled with stuff we have made and various tools we use. It is often a bit dusty and cramped, but it is where we feel most at home. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff. People just know us from the neighborhood and word of mouth. We work with our hands mostly. Sometimes we make stuff for students who have projects, and sometimes for local businesses who need a prototype for something. It is a slow process sometimes, and we don't always meet the deadlines we hope for because life just gets in the way. But we do our best with what we have. The 500 023 area is full of people doing small trades just like this. There is no corporate talk here, just tea and talk about how to fix a particular model or what material might work.
