Micron Electricals

Our place is at H.No.16-10-111 in Old Malkpet, Hyderabad. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded the lanes can get. The shop is tucked into a ground floor space that stays relatively cool even when the Hyderabad sun is beating down on the pavement outside. We have stacks of inventory reaching almost to the ceiling. It is mostly electrical hardware like conduits, junction boxes, and various types of industrial wiring. We have been at this address for several years. The floor is a bit uneven and we have to put a piece of folded cardboard under one of the table legs so it doesn't wobble. It is a busy atmosphere here with the sounds of autos and motorbikes constantly passing by the door. We usually start the day by sweeping out the dust that blows in from the main road. We don't use a lot of fancy technology for our day-to-day tasks. Most of our orders are handled with a pen and a carbon-copy bill book. We know most of the electricians who work in this neighborhood by their first names. They drop by to pick up supplies or just to complain about the traffic. It’s a bit messy and crowded inside, but we can find whatever part is needed if you give us a minute to look through the back shelves. It is just us here, keeping things going.
