Metro Furniture World

If you are looking for us, we are in Shop No 12-1-863/2 inside the Jalkam Complex. It’s right on Asif Nagar Main Road, near Ps Lane. The complex is always a bit of a maze with all the different shops, but we have a good amount of space for our things. We call it Furniture World because we try to keep a bit of everything, from simple stools to big cupboards with mirrors. The traffic on the main road is always loud, so we usually have the radio playing inside to drown it out. It gets busy on the weekends when families come out to browse after they finish their other shopping. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make the floor look full. The delivery guys are always coming and going through the back entrance. Sometimes we run out of space and have to keep the extra stock wrapped up in plastic near the ceiling. It’s a lot of work keeping track of what we have and what needs to be ordered. The floor is a bit scuffed from moving the heavy metal almirahs around all the time. We try to be helpful when someone asks a question, but mostly we just let people walk around and look at the furniture themselves. It’s a practical place for people who just want something decent for their home without spending too much.
