We share the building at 4-3-77/2 on Hill Streets in Ranigunj. Our business is called Metal-N-Alloys. We deal with exactly what the name says. We have piles of different metal pieces and alloys stored in the back and even some out front when we run out of room. It’s a heavy industry kind of place. The floors are concrete and they have a lot of scratches from dragging crates around. Working in Ranigunj means you have to get used to the dust and the constant sound of traffic. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that hums all day long. We spend most of our time weighing things out on the scales and writing down the numbers. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and moving stuff. Sometimes we get big orders that take all day to load onto the trucks. We don't have a website or anything like that. Most of our customers are local guys who have been buying from us for years. They know where we are and they know we will be here from morning until evening. We drink a lot of water because it gets dry in the shop. The guys working here have been around for a while, so we all know how to handle the materials without getting hurt. It’s a straightforward business. We buy, we store, and we sell. That is about it for us.
