Medkem is tucked away in Shaheedyar Jung Lane over in Avanti Nagar. Our specific spot is 3-6-69/4/1/1, right in the Basheerbagh area. It’s one of those parts of the city that stays busy from early morning until late at night. The lane can be a bit narrow, so parking is always a bit of a puzzle for anyone coming by. We’ve been operating from here for a good while, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. Inside, it’s pretty basic. We have our workspace set up with what we need to get through the daily workload. There’s no big reception area or anything like that. We usually just jump straight into whatever needs doing as soon as we walk in. Most of us live nearby, so we know the local shops and where to get the best snacks during lunch breaks. The building itself is old but it holds up well enough for what we do. We don't really have any fancy titles or formal ways of doing things; we just talk to each other across the room when something comes up. It’s a practical way to work. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit messy, but that’s just part of being in Basheerbagh. We just focus on the day-to-day operations and making sure everything stays on track without making too much of a fuss about it. It is just a regular office life for us.
