Maytas Properties Limited has a place here in Bangalore too. We’re located at 5th Main and 5th Cross. It’s a pretty standard Bangalore neighborhood, with all the usual noise and activity you’d expect from this part of Karnataka. We’ve been here for a bit, handling different property needs for people in the city. The office isn’t anything you’d see in a magazine; it’s just a functional space with some old desks and plenty of paper everywhere. Property work involves a lot of documents, as anyone who has ever bought a place knows. We spend hours making sure names are spelled right and addresses are correct on the forms. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of patience. We don’t have a big fancy sign or a lobby with a fountain. It’s just a door on the 5th Cross. We see people from all walks of life coming in to ask about land or apartments. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we have to close the windows just to hear the phone ring, but that’s Bangalore for you. Most of us here have been in the property business for years, so we’ve seen the market go up and down through the seasons. We don’t try to act like we’re something we’re not.
