Matha Voice

We are tucked away at SRT 323 in Jawahar Nagar, right over by the RTC X Roads in Hyderabad. If you're looking for us, we're basically right beside that ICICI Bank ATM that everyone uses. Most mornings start with the sound of the traffic outside, which is pretty much constant in this part of town. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the voice work done. We have some microphones and the usual recording setup. People come in and out all day. Sometimes the tea guy from around the corner brings us a few cups while we’re in the middle of something. It’s a bit cramped when there are more than three people in the room, but we make it work. The walls have some old foam on them to keep the echo down. We spend a lot of time just sitting in front of the screens, checking the levels and making sure everything sounds okay. It’s not a quiet job, even though you’d think it would be. There’s always some humming from the machines or someone talking in the background. We have been in this spot for a while now. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but you can still see Matha Voice clearly enough. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and we're usually right there at the desks working on the latest files that came in.
