Raymoon Traders

Raymoon Traders is on the ground floor at Hanuman Tekdi. The address is 4-1-25/G2, and we are right by the Masjid E Zorawar Khan. You can hear the calls to prayer throughout the day, which gives the place a specific rhythm. Being on the ground floor makes it easier to move goods in and out without dealing with stairs. The shop is often crowded with boxes and items waiting to be sent out. It’s a very central part of Hyderabad, so the lanes outside are always narrow and packed with people. We don't have a lot of space for a fancy layout. Every corner is used for storage or for the small desk where the billing happens. It can get a bit dark inside, so we keep the tube lights on even during the day. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a delivery vehicle, and everything comes to a standstill. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share tea in the afternoons. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, just face to face and hand to hand. There are no corporate manuals here, just the way we’ve always done things. The humidity in the monsoon makes the place feel a bit damp, but we just keep the fans going and carry on with the trading. We try to keep the inventory moving so that things don't sit on the shelves for too long.
