Mark Electronics Corporation

Mark Electronics Corporation is located at 149 & 150, right across from the big Tech Mahindra building in Bahadurpally. It’s funny because they have those huge glass windows and fancy gates, and we’re just over here in Quthbullapur with our rows of resistors and soldering irons. We sell a bit of everything when it comes to electronics. If someone’s TV stops working or they need a specific capacitor for a project, they usually end up at our counter. The shop is a bit of a maze with boxes of components stacked everywhere. I try to keep it organized, but when we get a big shipment in, things just end up on the floor for a few days. The air conditioner in here struggles during the summer, so we usually just keep the front door open and use a big pedestal fan. We get a lot of students from the local colleges coming in for parts for their final year projects. They always look a bit stressed, so we try to help them find what they need without charging them too much. It’s not a high-tech lab, even if the name sounds a bit like it. It’s just a place where we fix things and sell parts. Most of the time, I’m sitting at the back bench with a magnifying glass, trying to see why a circuit board isn't behaving. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy enough.
