Maria Tools

If you come down Road No. 3 in Sobhana Colony, you will find us at H. No. 2-140/2. This is Maria Tools. It is a typical Balanagar setup, where homes and small workshops all sit right next to each other. We have been here in this house-turned-workspace for quite some time now. The front area is where we keep all the tools and equipment. It is usually a bit messy, with metal shavings on the floor and grease on our hands, but that is how a real tool shop should look. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. Most of our visitors are people who have been coming to us for years because they know we have what they need. Balanagar is a busy place, and the traffic outside can be a nightmare in the evenings. Inside, we just focus on the task at hand. Whether it is fixing a part or finding the right tool for a specific job, we just do it. We are just a small group of people who know our way around hardware. We have lunch together, complain about the heat, and get back to the machines. It is a honest way to earn a living, and we like being part of the local community here in the colony. No one puts on an act; we just work.
